Author Name : Dr. P. Ishwara Gowda and Avinash Lobo
Abstract : Primary school teachers were very crucial in the early learning process of children. Nevertheless, they were found to experience serious mental problems that impacted their teaching performance and health. The paper was purely based on secondary data, the analysis of which focused on the primary psychological issues of primary teachers, such as stress, burnout, emotional exhaustion, role conflict, and anxiety. Results of earlier research showed that workload, student conduct, insufficient administrative assistance, and parental pressure were the significant causative factors. The research proposed institutional and policy-based interventions to enhance teacher mental health.
