Abstract
:
In this study, an attempt has been made to study the Achievement in Social Science of IX Standard Students in Relation to their Academic Resilience. Achievement Test and Academic Resilience Scale were used to collect the data from a sample of 640 IX standard students studying in Madurai District of Tamil Nadu State in India. The survey method had been followed and stratified random sampling technique was used in administration of the research tools. The result reveals that the average level of achievement in social science and academic resilience of IX standard students, there is significant difference in the gender and locality of the school of IX standard students with respect to their achievement in social science and academic resilience, there is significant and positive relationship between achievement in social science and academic resilience of IX standard students.
