Abstract
:
The purpose of the current study is to examine the Academic Performance in relation to Self Acceptance of higher secondary students. This study falls under descriptive research design. The sample of this study came from Higher Secondary Students of Calicut district in Kerala. The participants in this study include 654 higher secondary students were selected by simple random sampling. Descriptive, Differential and Correlational were applied to the analysis of data and the results found that significant interaction effect of Self Acceptance on Academic Performance of higher secondary students. It found that Academic Performance and Self Acceptance is high, there is significant difference in the Academic Performance of higher secondary students with regard to gender and locality of the school, there is significant difference in the Self Acceptance of higher secondary students with regard to gender and locality of the school and there is a significant and positive relationship between Academic Performance and Self Acceptance of Higher Secondary Students.
