Abstract : DIKSHA, a national school education platform accessible via website and mobile app, provides a wealth of curriculum-linked digital content, including interactive textbooks, worksheets, assignments, and teacher training materials in multiple languages. This study investigates the perceptions of secondary level social science teachers in government schools Pudukkottai district, Tamil Nadu, towards the DIKSHA platform, a national digital learning initiative. A survey using a self-structured perception scale was administered to 120 teachers who are chosen using simple random sampling technique. The study examines the influence of demographic variables, such as gender, locality of the school, age and years of teaching experience and access to technology, on teachers’ perceptions. The findings aim to identify key strengths and weaknesses of the platform, as well as potential barriers to its wider adoption. The study contributes to a better understanding of how to effectively integrate DIKSHA platform into secondary level social science in promoting more equitable access to digital learning resources.
