Abstract : Online well-being is an increasingly important aspect of the lives of higher secondary students as they spend more time engaging with digital platforms. Balancing the benefits of digital resources with the challenges they pose requires a comprehensive approach that includes digital literacy education, parental guidance, school support, and personal responsibility. By fostering a positive and mindful relationship with the online world, students can enhance their emotional, mental, social, and physical well-being, ultimately leading to healthier academic and personal lives. The present study aimed to significant difference in Online Wellbeing of higher secondary students based on selected variables. Normative survey method was adopted for the present study. A sample of 807 higher secondary students studying in XII standard in Puducherry Region by adopting random sampling technique was included in this study. Online Wellbeing Scale constructed and validated by the investigators (Santhi. S & Dr. S. Veena, 2023) was used as the research instrument. Descriptive analysis was used for interpretation of the collected data to arrive at meaningful conclusion. Findings of the study revealed that Online well-being of higher secondary students is at average level. Online well-being of higher secondary students based on the subsamples gender, type of management, course of study, ICT provisions and family type is at low level. There is no significant difference in online wellbeing between the higher secondary students based on Gender, Type of Management, Course of study and Family Type.
