Abstract : This paper focuses on pedagogical, social, and psychological features of classroom environments related to university architecture and settings. It will clarify how the physical study environment aligns with educational practices and learning theories in higher education (HE). It combines spatial characteristics and learning space design that according to research, contribute to better learning outcomes for the students. Therefore, this paper aims to illustrate the new ways of learning in higher education by causing a shift in learning settings in school buildings with a strong emphasis on promoting autonomy, interaction, and knowledge exploration at any time and everywhere. The research problem of this paper consists of the connection between the elements of the interior design of classrooms and the process of learning, by emphasizing the link that these two have in boosting academic performance, student outcomes etc. This study focuses on the Albanian context and the research is conducted in a public university in Albania. Thus, it is a case study based on surveys and questionnaires. It treats psychological implications in the process of learning, influenced by school environment, design, colors etc. The findings of the paper which were mostly expected and are highly supported by the theoretical background, reveal the discontent of students regarding the issue. There is still a lot to be done in terms of interior design, its relation to the boost of study performance etc.
