Abstract
:
This paper presents an analysis of the challenges faced by the Albanian educational system during the pandemic period and the changes that occurred during this time, which have been carried over into the post-pandemic period. The paper argues that the Albanian educational system and the entire state system in Albania were not ready to cope with a massive pandemic that spread throughout the territory, affecting all ages and strata of the population. The paper analyzes the concrete challenges faced by the Albanian education system during the pandemic period. The post-pandemic period was accompanied by a transitional period towards a "normalization" of the situation in the Albanian education system. The transitional period was concretized with measures that gradually "released" the limited measures of the pandemic period. Special decisions of the Albanian government were made to ensure a gradual, measured, and controlled return to normality in the education system. The possibility of the return of a more aggressive pandemic conditioned a gradual return to normality. This part constitutes the second pillar of this paper.
