Abstract
:
The present study was conducted to find out the relationship between achievement in physics and study habits of higher secondary students. A sample of randomly selected 668 higher secondary students studying Kanniyakumari District. The tools used for conducting the present study were Achievement Test in Physics (ATP) Constructed and Validated by Evelin Liza Sthevan S and Dr. S. Manivannan (2024) and Study Habits Scale (SHS) developed by Deepti Sharma and Masaud Ansari (2018) were considered. The results of this research study show that the level of Achievement in Physics and Study Habits of Higher Secondary Students is average, there is significant difference between the Male and Female Higher Secondary Students with respect to their Achievement in Physics and Study Habits, there is significant difference between the Male and Female Higher Secondary Students with respect to their Achievement in Physics and study habits, there is significant difference between the Tamil Medium and English Medium Higher Secondary Students with respect to their Achievement in Physics and study habits. There is significant correlation between Achievement in Physics and Study Habits of higher secondary students.
