Abstract
:
The education system is under great pressure to use information and communication technologies effectively to meet the demands of the present day world. To bridge the gap between what is taught in school and the present day conditions, the colleges of education are on a constant watch for ways to integrate technology to improve teaching methodologies and bring the content to wider audiences. It is not just about equipping future teachers with technical skills, but it is about exploring how technology can change the way teaching is done, how learning can be extended beyond the walls of the classroom and whether technology embedded in curriculum can create a better learning environment.
